Our agency has adopted a business structure all aimed at providing the best service with the client in mind, as well as our employees. 

 

We have written policies in place for: standards of conduct and rules of all our employees, support and evaluation of all employees, emergencies in the field, disaster plan, handling of complaints, client complaint resolution, client surveys, client bill of rights, in-home care guidelines, infectious disease prevention, client assessment and rate calculation, client acceptance and termination of care.

 

 

 

Our Staff

 

Our caregivers are our most valuable asset.  They are all qualified professionals in the healthcare-related field with many years of experience.

 

Our hiring process is meticulous.  In other words,  hiring the right person for the job is the single most important thing a business owner can do.

 

We take our vocation seriously since we understand the important role we have and how our performance can affect another.  Every person we hire is a reflection of our values and what we believe in.

 

We have caregivers who are nurses, licensed vocational nurses, certified nursing assistants, home health aides and private duty aides.

 

Our caregivers are thoroughly screened and have completed an interview and orientation, live scan fingerprinting from FBI/ Department of Justice.

 

All of our caregivers are employees of Caring Hearts Health Care guaranteeing that all necessary taxes, liability insurance, bond and worker's compensation are in place and handled for additional peace of mind.

What is the Home Care Association of America?

 

 

The Home Care Association of America (HCAOA) is a national voice for organizations that provide private duty

home care services, and an advocate for services which benefit the consumers for whom they care: seniors,

children, persons with disabilities, those with chronic health conditions and anyone whose quality of life can be

improved by having a care worker help in their home.

 

All of the companies in the Home Care Association of America share a guiding philosophy and values.  These

values encompass the following:

 

  • integrity in providing safe, qualified and affordable care

  • excellence in services

  • and effectively communicating these values to consumers.

 

Over the past several years, the provision of in-home care has increasingly been provided by nurse registries

and caregiving agencies that only act as "matchmaker" services, assigning independent contractors to clients and patients in need of services.  Many consumers who use services offered by these companies never realize that there are potential legal and tax consequences that go along with the use of an independent contractor.  These

consequences can be significant, and could have a serious impact on the consumer.
